Laptops for Rural Primary Schools

The Best of Both, British School of Brussels has been linked up with four primary schools in the rural areas around Bolgatanga. Over the past five years, they have engaged in various knowledge exchange projects and supported their partners with numerous donations. Last week, Trax distributed 8 laptops to the four schools, on behalf of the Best of Both, British School of Brussels. Each school received two,  accompanied by a headphone, a mouse and a bag.

Trax left it onto the schools to decide how the computers could be used best. The heads of the schools told us that some intended to use it as a practical tool for the ICT classes. The Best of Both has provided computer labs to all but one school. At the time, Gaare-Gbani was not yet connected to the grid. Even though the children were taught ICT skills on paper, there were no computers to put their knowledge into practice. With the two their ICT classes will get a lot more lively! In the near future, a computer lab will be established in addition. laptops, heir ICT classes will get a lot more lively! In the near future, a computer lab will be established in addition.
